BRUCE, Jean (Jane) Eliza (nee Hood) - passed away peacefully at the Village of Taunton Mills in Whitby after a 13 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease on Monday January 22, 2018 at the age of 93.
Beloved wife of the late Frederick (Fred).
Loving mother to Rick (Laurie), Craig (predeceased) and Kim (Ian).
Proud grandmother to Jeff (Vanessa), Leslie (Jim), Andrew and Shannon.
Great grandma to Brooklyn, James, Mack, Shelby and Jackson. Loving sister to Bill Hood (predeceased), Bea Patrick (predeceased) and Pat Casey.
Visitation will take place at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 5295 Thickson Road North, Whitby on Saturday January 27th from 1:30 p.m. with service to be held in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. Reception to follow.
Interment at Pine Hills Cemetery, 625 Birchmount Road, Scarborough.
A very big thank you to the wonderful staff in the Perry and Dunlop units at Taunton Mills for their loving care during mom’s 10year stay.
