IBBITSON, Christine "Sissy" - With saddened hearts, we announce that after a courageous battle with brain cancer, Sissy (64) passed away on February 3rd, 2018 at Oshawa Lakeridge Hospital.
She was born June 27th 1953 in Oshawa, Ontario.
Daughter of Alex and Marion Czinka.
Sissy will be deeply missed, until they meet again, by her loving husband Bryan Taylor.
A fantastic mother to Joshua, Casie, and Kalah.
A much loved Nana to Mason, Brooke, Audrey, Nayshawn and Boston. Sissy will be missed by her sisters Linda (Pat) and Kerry (Bill), and her brother Jason (Cheryl). Sissy was preceded in death by sister Kim Watson. Sissy will also be greatly missed by nieces and nephews.
She has touched the hearts of so many. There will be many gardens in despair with the loss of her green thumb. Many bellies wondering what happened to all of that good food.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life at the Oshawa Armouries, 53 Simcoe Street North on Sunday February 11th from 1 to 5 pm. A few words of Gospel at 2 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Durham Child Nutrition Project (www.dcnp.ca) would be appreciated please.
