PATTON, Muriel Edvena (nee COWIESON)  - Muriel, 95, passed peacefully following a short illness on February 8, 2018.

Born in Aurora, January 1923 to Lloyd and Edna Cowieson (nee Proctor), the family moved to Toronto in the 1940s where she met the “boy next door”.

While Robert went off to war Muriel worked as a bomb girl in Scarborough.

Married to Robert Patton for 42 years they built a life and family in Scarborough where she lived until recently.

Predeceased by her husband Robert, Sister-in-Law & friend Muriel Irene Patton, as well as her 5 brothers.

Lovingly remembered by her son Nevin (Leslie), granddaughters Kendra, Taryne, and Kerri Williams (Cory), she was also happily awaiting the arrival of her 1st great-grandchild.

She was a strong & lively woman who found joy in murder mysteries, tabby cats, her cardinals, & apple baseball.
She adored her family and will be greatly missed.

At her request funeral services will be private. Donations can be made to the Canadian Arthritis Society.
