BEDNARZ, Sophie (nee Kryszak) - November 6, 1939 - February 19, 2018
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Sophie on Monday, February 19th, 2018, at the age of 78 years.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family.
Loving wife of the late Leon Bednarz. Cherished brother Joseph and Marjorie Kryszak, Jennifer and Kendra.
Cherished mother to Donna (Michael Konoby), Anne (Robert Hilz), Nancy (Fred Boyden) and Diane (Krzysztof Zawisza).
Adored Babcia to Jaclyn, Jessie, Joshua (Krista), Sarah (Brandon), Adam, Benjamin, Emily, Zachary and Jacob.
Great Grandmother to Skyler (Schenk). Sophie will be forever missed and remembered fondly by her family and friends at Marion Place.
Family and friends may gather for visitation at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Thursday, February 22nd from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Rosary at 8:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. MARY OF THE PEOPLE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 570 Marion Avenue, Oshawa on Friday, February 23rd at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Thornton Cemetery.
