SMITH, Gilbert (Gib) - Peacefully, Gib left us on March 4, 2018.
Gib was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and uncle.
Gib is survived by his wife Eleanor, sons Paul (Karen), Alan (Laura) and Eric (Melanie), eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gib's time was well spent with his family, as well as his many friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Supportive Care Centre of the Lakewood Health Oshawa for their great care these past few days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Andrew's Church in Whitby on Friday, March 9th at 11 a.m.
