Hepburn DavidHEPBURN, David Russell - (March 21, 1922 – April 10, 2018) -

(Member: Beethoven Lodge, Brooklin, ON)

Russell passed away peacefully at Georgetown Hospital with family by his side on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at the age of 96.

Russell, loved husband of Doreen (Phair) shared their love for nearly 39 years.

Loved and loving stepfather of Judy Winfield (Lyle), Barbara Coleen (Ty), and predeceased by stepdaughter Janice Gordon (George).

Proud grandfather to Heather (Stan), Charlotte, Timothy (Nicole), and Jen (Adam) and his many great grandchildren.

Russell shared many happy times over the years, phone calls, and visits with his sister May Francis (predeceased Marshall). He is predeceased by his brother Harold Hepburn and his wife Anne, Margaret James and her husband Wilfred, and Evelyn Smith (surviving Ray).

Uncle Russell will be missed by many nieces and nephews who have spend many happy memorable times with him.

Russell was born on the family farm in the Enniskillen area and farmed the land until it was sold in the 70s. He then moved on to security work until his retirement. Russell resided on the farm property all his life until moving to Brooklin in 2011 and then Extendicare Nursing Home in 2017 to be with his wife Doreen.

He had a very optimistic and positive attitude towards life. He believed hard work and fresh air provided him with the tools for a long happy life. We will miss you.
