MacKenzie MargaretMACKENZIE, Margaret (nee Kenyon)  - Retired nurse from Oshawa General Hospital

Passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health, Oshawa on April 22, 2018, after a lengthy battle with cancer with her daughter, Heather, at her side.

Beloved wife of almost 56 years to Albert Eugene (Gene).

Loving mother to Janis MacPhee (Dan), Paul MacKenzie (Sonja) and Heather Huebner (Eric).

Sadly missed by grandchildren Maggie, Sam, Jake and Caleb MacPhee; Emelie-Claire, Richard, Beatrice and Benjamin MacKenzie; Colson, Keeton and Kenyon Huebner.

Margaret will be missed by her five siblings. Margaret was an avid gardner and a devoted care giver to her husband Gene for many years and she will be missed by all who knew her.

Friends may call at the MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby, 905-443-3376 on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 4-8 p.m.

Funeral Service on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Grace Lutheran Church, 540 Cromwell Avenue, Oshawa at 11 a.m. Visitation one hour prior to service time. Cremation to follow.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Cancer Research Society or The Canadian Bible Society would be appreciated by the family.
