GEDGE, Elvire (nee Smeets) – After a brief but courageous battle with cancer, Elvire passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday April 24th, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.
Elvire was in her 84th year but always 60 at heart.
Beloved wife of the late Bruce.
Treasured mother and friend of Brian & his wife Kelly, Susan and her husband Derek Mitchell and Brad and his wife Miki.
Cherished grandmother of Makena and Avery.
Elvire will be missed by siblings Roger, late Gaston (Marg), Sister Lydie, late Sylvan, Marcelleine (Wayne), Janine (Chuck) and Ghislaine (Marg) and their families
Elvire will be lovingly remembered by all her family and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held at the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Friday April 27th from 7-9pm and on Saturday April 28th from 12 noon with Funeral Service in the chapel at 1pm.
Memorial donations to the RS McLauglin Cancer Centre would be greatly appreciated by the family.
