CUTHBERTSON, Garnet - Passed away peacefully on May 7, 2018 at the Scarborough and Rouge Valley Hospital, Centenary Site.
Garnet, of Scarborough, Ontario, was born June 17, 1929 in Verdun, Quebec, and was employed at the Protestant School Board of Greater Montreal.
He retired at the age of 54, when he became an avid model boat builder.
Garnet always enjoyed time with his family and his grandchildren, and will be very deeply missed.
Garnet is survived by his three daughters, Janet Hoyse (nee Cuthbertson) & Guy, Heather Shipway (nee Porter) & Larry, and Debra Newgewirtz (nee Cuthbertson) & Allan Brow, as well as his five grandchildren, Tanner, Brandon, Evan, Mandy & Sarah.
Garnet was preceded in death by his wife Louise, his brother Howard, and his two sisters Beatrice Scallon, & Ruth Davidson.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, May 17th at SHEPHERD VILLAGE, 3760 Sheppard Ave. E., Scarborough, Ontario, at 11:00 am. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society.
