Daciuk AnnaDACIUK, ANNA (nee Jurczak)  - Peacefully in her 95th year passed away with her family at her side on Tuesday May 29, 2018.

Anna was born in Obertyn, Ukraine on January 30, 1923 to parents Maria and Peter and predeceased by her husband of 69 years Mykola (Nick) Daciuk who passed away in December 2014.

Cherished mother to daughter Marika, son Peter and his wife Darlene.

Proud grandmother (Baba) to John Daciuk (Shannon), Michael Daciuk (Heather), Katherine Henneke (nee Daciuk) (Mathew).

Anna was also a great grandmother to Caiden, Haven, Caleb Daciuk and Lucas and Kale Henneke.

Anna and Nick arrived in Canada in 1948 after surviving the war in Europe spending time in Ukraine, Poland, Russia and Germany.

She held various jobs housecleaning before working full time at Crovens in Whitby for many years.

She was a very proud hard working woman who loved sewing and gardening.

She would do anything for anyone, anytime. She was also a faithful member of ST. GEORGE THE GREAT MARTYR UKRAINIAN CATHOLIC CHURCH. Anna was part of the church choir with her husband Mykola for many years.

Special thanks to all the PSW’s and caregivers who made her comfortable.

Visitation to take place at  ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME
, 124 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday May 31st from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Panachyda at 7:30pm.

Devine Liturgy of Christian Burial at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church (Lviv& Albert) on Friday June 1st at 11am. Interment St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian Cemetery, Courtice.

Memorial donations to the  CHARITY of choice would be appreciated by the family.
