HINES, Second Lieutenant Samantha Alexandra, Royal Canadian Air Force.
At the age of 26, Sam went home to be with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ after fighting a courageous battle against cancer.
Precious daughter of Rick and Bev Hines, treasured sister to Tiffany Hines, and loved relation to extensive, extended family. Graduate of Eastdale C.V.I., Oshawa, and Brock University, St. Catharines.
Service planned for 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30 that CALVARY BAPTIST CHURCH, 300 Rossland Road East, Oshawa.
Internment to follow at Thornton Cemetery, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa.
Reception to follow at Calvary.
This service is to honour both Sam’s life and, on the eve of our nation’s holiday, any military members and first responders, past and present, who may wish to attend.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Focus on the Family Canada or blood donations to Canadian Blood Services would be appreciated.
