It is with heavy hearts that the family of Leonard Head announces his passing, peacefully at home, on Monday, June 25th, 2018 in his 90th year.
Predeceased by his loving and cherished wife of 50 years, Barbara Joyce Head (nee Cope) and his two brothers James and William.
Outstanding father to Neffisa Sutherland, Michelle Head Kim (Harry), Nancy Head, Steve Head and Brian Head (Kate).
Awesome Gramps to Christian Carnovale (Marci), Sabrina Revington (nee Carnovale) (Phil), Katherine Sutherland (Steve), Arlen Head (Jenna), Kyle Sutherland, Stephanie Head, Callum Sutherland, Benjamin Head (Liz), Mackenzie Kim, Joshua Hannon and Jessica Kim.
Great Grandpa to Daphane Boone-Ethier, Clark and Clover Carnovale, Arabella, Oriana, Aurora and Theo Revington, Emily and Collin Hannon.
Special loved friend to dear companion Irene Rhame.
Len will be greatly missed by his sister-in-laws Marjorie Barager, Amy Bailey and Eileen Brush and his many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) on Monday, July 2nd from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, July 3rd at 3:00 pm.
