DONER, Phyllis Jean  -  Passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on June 29, 2018 at the age of 88.

Jean was born on December 1, 1929 in Stouffville, Ontario, the youngest of five children born to Percy and Myrtle Brown (Hoover).

Jean married her husband Howard on September 15, 1956.

They moved from Stouffville to a farm in Cannington in 1969 where they raised their children and spent the majority of their 61 years together.

Howard passed away in May 2017. Jean is survived by her children Dan (Anita) Doner; Rick (Dale) Doner; and Linda (Cameron) McBain; and son-in-law David Reid, having lost her beloved daughter Janet Reid to cancer just a week before her passing.

Jean was the much-adored “Nana” to her 12 grandchildren: Kyle, Natalie and Ava Doner; Benjamin Doner, Katie (Justin) Hackett and Jason (Beth) Doner; Richard, Sarah and Emily Reid; and Leah, Brandon and Ethan McBain. She was blessed with four great-grandsons: Everett Doner, Samuel Hackett, and Micah and Isaiah Doner. “Jeannie Bellini” was endearingly gullible with an easy laugh and sense of humour.

Her wonderful baking (especially her pie) was the focal point of many gatherings. Her faith in God anchored her, and she was happiest when surrounded by family and friends.

Visitation will be held at the Low and Low Funeral Home, Uxbridge, on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 2p.m. until the time of service at 3p.m. Immediately following the service, a reception will be held on the lower level.
