BRITTAIN, Dr James A. (DPM)  - passed away at his home in Oshawa on Friday June 9, 2017 in his 96th year.

Loving husband of Lily (deceased), Jim was born in Niagara-on-the-Lake on December 31, 1921.

Jim served from 1939 to 1945 in WWII with the Lincoln and Welland regiment. He was part of the Normandy invasion and was wounded on March 10, 1945. Jim and Lily married in 1947.

Kelly RobertKELLY, Robert Frederick  - Bob passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Monday June 5, in his 98th year. He is predeceased by his first wife Joyce (Fraser).

Bob was one of five children born in Toronto Ontario on April 20, 1920.

As a young teenager, Bob loved to swim, ski and boat at his family’s cottage on Shadow Lake.

During the Second World War, Bob flew airplanes from where they were manufactured in Hamilton to the Oshawa airport for wartime pilot training, and in 1947 he and Joyce moved to Oshawa permanently.

Born May 6th, 1927 in Maidstone, England.

Loving mother of Anthony Czajkowski and his wife Diane of Courtice.

Grandma will be truly missed by her three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her loving husband Jozef in 2011.

Predeceased by her mom and dad, her only sister Sonya, and only brother Gordon of England. Audrey married Jozef in 1948 and came to Canada in 1955.
