It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to one of the strongest, most loyal, hard working woman we know. She has been a driving force in who we have become and we are proud to call her Mom, Grandma, and Nana.
She leaves wonderful memories with her children, D’Arcy (Melanie) Karen (Steve) and Mike (Sue), her grandchildren Chris (Julie) Cheryl (Nate) Justin, Jeremy, Alexandra, DJ, Elizabeth, and her great-grandchildren Trey, Skylar, Marina, Maggie, Clay, and Aaron.
Predeceased by her husband, D'Arcy, the love of her life, in 1992, and her brother Joe. Lovingly remembered by her sister-in law Lois (the late Don) and her nieces and nephews.
SHEN, Mingchen - Peacefully passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017 at the Credit Valley Hospital at the age of 87.
Beloved husband of Shurong. Loving father to his daughters Xiumei (Baojun), Ying (Fanyu) and Ping (Gang).
Cherished grandfather of Zhihui (Lanlan), Mingyue (Yao), Kevin and Bowen. Mingchen will be very missed and always remembered by his family.

Survived by her adoring and devoted husband of 38 years Stan, her children Stan Jr. (wife Stephanie), Jenna Broadley (husband Peter), Justin (wife Kaitlyn), Erin and Adrian, her siblings Jim (wife Lynda), Cathy, Carol, Ken (wife Denise), Keith (wife Lisa) and Lenore.

ESTEIREIRO, Jose Manuel - Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Toronto General Hospital. Jose, in his 64th year.

Beloved mother of Bob Moody (Angie Nadalin) and Elaine Jackson (Michael Moriarity). Clemence was much loved by her granddaughter Amber Larissa McGauley (Ryan). Also loved by her great-grandchildren Quinn and Jessica Gauder and Evangeline McGauley. Clemence was predeceased by her parents Modest and Maria Bamps, and her sisters Jeanne and Alice in Belgium.

Beloved husband of Eileen Wright (Slaney), devoted Father to Stephen (Germaine), Peter, and Susan (Phil). Proud grandfather to Isaiah, Liam, and Noah.
Archie and Eileen immigrated to Canada in 1967 and made Burlington home for 40 years after initially living in Galt (now Cambridge). He enjoyed being close to the lake and riding through the Niagara Escarpment.

Betty was born and raised in Ottawa, the daughter of Walter Herbert Styran and Janet Kincaid (McPhee) Styran. She was married to Gerhard William Thomas Kennedy (d. 1975), and to George Allan Burton (d. 2003).
She is survived and will be sadly missed by her sons Mark Kennedy (Anne Mirgalet) of Etobicoke, Shawn Kennedy (Susannah Lam) of Smithers, and D'Arcy Kennedy of Thailand; daughter Tracy Brown (Dr. David Brown) of Mono; sisters Joan Smith of Windsor and Patricia Styran of Toronto; and too many step-children, grandchildren, friends and admirers to name.
Betty was a widely-respected journalist, broadcaster, television personality, TV producer, author and board member.

RODGER, Ruby - Age 87, of Georgetown ON, passed away on Sunday March 19, 2017 in Napanee, Ontario, Canada.
Ruby's family was with her in Napanee and she passed away very peacefully and surrounded with love.
Ruby was born in Buckhaven, Fife, Scotland to Mary (nee Goldie) and Peter Cargill on December 27, 1929. She devoted most of her life to bringing up her four children while proving she could be an excellent shop manager for her own hairdressing business and Matheson's Shoes Stirling Scotland.
DAVIDSON, Clifford Edwin John 'Cliff' - (August 14, 1933 - March 19, 2017) -
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband and father Cliff Davidson, peacefully at home in Oakville on Sunday. He succumbed to complications from Dementia.
He was the son of Jack and Florence Davidson of Dublin, Ireland, and is survived by his wife Trudy, son John, daughter Colene (Morgan Davies), sister Vanessa, brother in law Dudley, grandchildren Carson and Evan and his extended family in Ireland.
Born in Dublin, Cliff was an early star both on and off the field of play. In High School he was Captain of both the Rugby and Cricket teams, and was appointed Head Boy. Following that he enrolled in Trinity College, Dublin, where he studied and won awards in Mathematics and Chemistry. After completing University, in 1956 he immigrated to Canada, where he began a long career with Shell Canada Ltd., first in Montreal and later in Sarnia, Oakville and Toronto, where he retired as a senior executive.

JOHNSTON, Ivan (Buster) Newton - (December 23, 1944 – March 18, 2017) - It is with great sadness and sincere grief that the family of Ivan (Buster) Johnston announces his passing at the age of 72 after being diagnosed with cancer in December 2015 just after his 70th birthday.
Born on December 23, 1944 in Kingston, Jamaica, he was the son of the late James Johnston and the late Lola Johnston. His brother Lloyd Johnston and sister Delaine Ayoub, predeceased him.
He will be cherished and forever remembered by his wife, Judy Johnston, his sons Martin Johnston (Danika Zuber) and Darryl Johnston (Janissa), daughter Natalie Shantz (Dave), six grandchildren (Colton Shantz, Wyatt Shantz, Isaiah Johnston, Avery Johnston, Rowynne Johnston, Naiya Johnston), brothers Rennie Johnston, Neville Johnston (Geri), Joe Johnston (Anne-Marie) and Billy Johnston (Marlene), brother-in-law Derek Goldson (Bernice), and sister-in-law Rosie Johnston.

SALE, Gene D. - (June 1, 1923 - March 17, 2017) - Passed away gently at the Kensington Retirement Community in Oakville, Ontario soon after the passing of her beloved husband of 52 years, John R. Sale.
Gene was born to Frances and Fred Holloway 93 years ago in Wheeling, West Virginia. She attended Kennedy Collegiate High School in Windsor, Ontario. Gene served as a medical technologist in the U.S. Army during WWII.
She also completed an undergraduate degree in Social Studies at the University of Michigan and Wayne State University. Later Gene earned a teaching certificate and Masters of Education Degree from Eastern Michigan University. This led to a rewarding career teaching talented youth in Farmington, Michigan and Oakville, Ontario.
