Husband to Sharleen for 53 years, father of Peter and Andrew (Rachel) and proud Papa to his granddaughter, Vivian, who provided him with hours of happy fun and laughter.

John was the owner of CD&L. It was one of the first landscaping companies in Oakville that provided year round services to many businesses in the community.

Allan was a long-time resident of Oakville and Burlington. In his youth he helped run his family farm and discovered a love for long distance truck driving.

He joined the Oakville Police Department in 1950 as a Cadet and completed his career as an Inspector for Halton Regional 36 years later.
