Rita passed away peacefully at Credit Valley Hospital on Thursday October 19th, 2017, in the palliative care unit with her family by her side after a 3 year battle with cancer.

Born in Alphen aan de Rijn Holland May 19, 1934 she married her husband Kars April 7 1954. Mom and dad immigrated to Canada in June 1960 to start a new life together.

Born in Windsor, Ontario on August 22, 1954. Wife of Robert Patrick. Grandmother to Makayla and Adam Patrick and Tristan and Tenley Worthy and stepmother to Andrew Patrick (Mandy) and Sherri Patrick-Worthy (Karen Worthy). Aunt to Jenna Millican (Ross), Maya Scherr-Willson, Ilya Golovaty, and Sarah Willson.

Survived by brothers Richard Willson (Robin Scherr) of Los Angeles, California and Ian Willson (Natasha) of Seattle, Washington and stepmother Patricia Moore of Windsor, Ontario.

Parents William and Jean McLean Willson raised Katherine in a house designed by her mother. She visited Japan and England as a child, and enjoyed horseback riding, the music of the 1960’s, and writing poetry. Katherine generously supported her younger brothers as they grew up.

 

Park KennethPARK, Kenneth William - Ken passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to complications related to a battle with brain cancer on February 4, 2017.

Ken was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 17, 1932, son of the late James Park of Glasgow, Scotland and Clarice Middleton of Lancashire, UK.

He left this world just two weeks shy of his 85th birthday.

Ken was predeceased by his wife and love of his life Ernestine (née Curotte, April 22, 1934 - June 3, 1995) and brother, Allan James (July 3, 1929 - April 22, 1997).

 

Park JungHeePARK, JungHee  - Died peacefully on Sunday, January 31st, 2016 at home at the age of 51 after living courageously with cancer for a year.

After finishing graduate studies in theology at Ewha Womans University in Seoul, Korea, she worked with labourers marginalized in the process of the industrialization of the country through Sandol (Living Stone) Presbyterian Church and Cultural Centre for eight years.

After immigrating to Canada and preparing for ministry through the Centre for Christian Studies, she was commissioned as a Diaconal Minister and settled into Fingal United Church in 2005. While working with that congregation, she began a program toward a Doctorate in Theology at the Toronto School of Theology in 2008.
