Richard Garnett passed away peacefully at his home in Oakville, Ontario, surrounded by his family on Saturday, January 26, 2019.

During his 55-year career as a mining engineer and geologist, Richard was instrumental in the discovery and expansion of several deposits, including Voisey’s Bay, Donlin Creek and the Geevor Tin Mine in Cornwall.

Noble ClarkNOBLE, Clark Carsson - It is with great sadness that the family of Clark Noble announces his passing very suddenly at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital on Friday, January 25, 2019 at the age of 69.

Clark was one week shy of his 70th birthday.

Clark was born to John and Ivy Noble in Toronto on February 1, 1949. He grew up with his many siblings in south Etobicoke.

He would later come to serve as a Metropolitan Toronto Police Officer in that same region for twenty-seven years.

Born March 19th, 1943 in Mettmann, Germany, Illa was a daughter to Werner Theegarten and Elfriede (nee Reinke) Theegarten, both of whom passed away May 2001.

Illa is survived by two cousins in Germany and one cousin in New Jersey, USA.

Cleala was born in Montreal on November 19th, 1926 to Leva Charlotte Baker and Edwin John Carter.

Her family, including her younger brother Reginald Carter, moved to the “Beaches” in Toronto in 1930, where Cleala attended what is now Balmy Beach Community School and Malvern Collegiate.

Cleala pursued a career in high fashion dress designing, working in the fashion district on Spadina Avenue until marrying James Arnold McAlister in 1958. Cleala and Arnold built their own house in the Markham and Shepherd area of Agincourt. Soon born were Anita Elaine and Ronald Edwin.

Brzuchacz CeciliaBRZUCHACZ, Cecilia (nee Mayeski) - (1921 - 2019) - Passed away peacefully at home on January 25, 2019 at the age of 97, with her granddaughter Maya Lager-McRae (Matthew) by her side.

Loving wife of 48 years to Michal Brzuchacz (2002).

Predeceased by her only daughter, Judith Broadway and brothers Frank and Chester, sisters Helen Saluisburg, and Lillian Edwards.

Wang MingWANG, Ming Hsuan - Ming Hsuan Wang, age 42, passed away peacefully January 23rd, 2019 due to the spread of a rare type of lung cancer, despite having never smoked a cigarette.

Ming was born and raised in Taiwan until she attended San Jose State University for graduate school in 2000, where she met her husband Kevin Huang who was working in Silicon Valley just after graduation.

Ming eventually moved to Canada in 2004 and married Kevin on January 20th, 2005. Fortunately, Ming and Kevin were able to celebrate their 14th anniversary right before her passing.

She was born on August 13, 1924, the daughter of Siebe and Dirkje Alkema (VanderGalien) in Murmerwoude, Friesland, The Netherlands.

She leaves behind her children Klaas and Ruth, Siebe and Ivy, Dorothy and Harry VanSpronsen, Sye and Elly, Janet and Mike Hunnersen, and Harry and Sandra, and all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her much loved husband, Jacob (Jac.) in 2002, and by all of her sisters and brothers in the Netherlands.
