Britto AllanBRITTO, Allan Charles - (January 1, 1955 - September 28, 2018)

In loving memory of Allan Charles Britto, 63, of Bombay, India. Allan considered Canada home for nearly 50 years having lived in Calgary, Dryden, and Mississauga.

Allan is survived by Caroline Elizabeth, his loving wife of 35 years, sons Dean Charles and Neil John, and daughter-in-law Elizabeth Ann.

He leaves his dear siblings, Beryl, Betty, Winnifred, and Winston to reunite with his parents Bertrand and Doreen in Heaven.

Allan started and finished his career in retail management. He excelled through all aspects of the profession: from serving ice cream to managing large stores and staff to navigating corporate mergers and company shutdowns, in small towns and large cities. His notable work ethic, distinctively positive attitude, and encouraging demeanor allowed him to forge meaningful friendships wherever he worked.

Allan was a student of history, always sharing quotes of historical figures. His favourite traditions and memories included having a drink in memory of others when visiting the house, the many parties and adventures with work colleagues, long drives throughout Canada and to California, golfing at Kananaskis, exploring Australia on multiple occasions with family, experiencing the highs and lows of watching the Dallas Cowboys in-person, Super Bowl parties, and visiting the National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington.

Allan produced many cherished memories and friendships throughout his life. He reminds us all through his life and death to live life to the fullest. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, supportive father, remarkable colleague, cheerful friend, and kind soul.
