Renshaw AdaRENSHAW, Ada (nee Sherrington) - Ada died at home, suddenly on July 2, 2016, just two months short of her 97th birthday.

Ada was born in Montreal, Quebec, on September 4th 1919. She is survived and loved dearly by her husband of 73 wonderful years, Kenneth William Renshaw.

She was so very loved by her children and their families; Ken Jr (Christine Brown), Ian Renshaw (Barbara Walker-Renshaw), and Elaine  Renshaw (Keith Watkins).

Ada was revered by her grandchildren, Liam Brown(Heather), Caitlin Bradbury (Marty), Merryn Renshaw-Williams (Josh), Claire Watkins (Michael Prowse), and Timothy Watkins. She was a source of great joy to her great grandchildren, Ewan Brown, Taylor and Rylie Bradbury, and Norah Renshaw-Williams.

Ada was one of the kindest and most generous people on earth, and avoided recognition or praise. Her greatest passion was her wonderful family and she especially loved our frequent family gatherings. Nothing delighted her more than her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a voracious reader, always asking us for more books. She enjoyed a lifetime of traveling the world, and was always ready for one more road trip! She was loved so very much and will be missed deeply.

Celebration of life to be held at Smth's funeral home, 1167 Guelph Line, Burlington on Sunday, July 24th from 3 - 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, please pay it forward to the charity or cause of your choice, or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
