His humble and gracious nature will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20th from 10:00am – 11:00am at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville, Ontario. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on Wednesday, July 20th, after which placing of the urn will take place. Refreshments will be available immediately following the memorial service.

In lieu of flowers, Roland’s final wish was for sympathizers to take a significant person in their life out to dinner in his honour.

“Your presence we miss, Your memories we treasure,
Loving you always, Forgetting you never,
Dearer still as the years depart, You live forever in our hearts”
