NICOL, Dr. Olu Louis Victor Kayode - (October 7, 1956 - September 3, 2016) -

Dr. Olu Louis Victor Kayode Nicol Obituary, of Oakville; a treasured gift to all who were fortunate enough to know him, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 59th year.

He went in peace in the presence of love and family after a most valiant battle.

Olu was a loving father to his two cherished daughters, as well as a beloved son, brother, cousin, artist, physician and friend.  A respected family doctor, he leaves behind a legacy of generosity, selflessness, nurturing kindness, and compassion for his patients, family, and an extraordinary number of friends all over the world.

He was an incredibly talented artist, musician and, writer, and an all-around brilliant mind. Olu lived to enrich the lives of those he loved, and he will continue to inspire countless generations for many years to come.

Olu was exactly what his name intended - the bringer of happiness. A gracious soul that will live forever in our hearts and minds, fondly remembered and deeply missed.

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on September 24th at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville.
