Maddeaux RayMADDEAUX, Raymond 'Ray' - It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ray Maddeaux on September 13, 2016 surrounded by his family at St. Joseph's Hospital in Hamilton.

Loving husband and best friend of 46 years to Lynn. Father to Andrea (Mike) Murray and Diana (Jeff) Stewart. Proud Papa of Abigail, Grace, Brady and Bronwyn. Brother to Donna (d. Tommy) and Dean (Karyn).

Ray was born April 2, 1949. He was a career banker at RBC Royal Bank, but first and foremost he was a family man. Nothing gave Ray greater joy than to spend a sunny day by the water with his family at the cottage. Ray was a lover of family, friends and life.

Family and friends are invited to share in the celebration of Ray's life at Bay Gardens funeral home, Burlington chapel on Friday, September 16th from 11am to 1pm. Immediately followed by a funeral service and reception. A private family interment to follow.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial donations to St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton Foundation with designation to Kidney Transplant Care (www.stjoesfoundation/donateinmemory). If you haven't yet done so, please consider becoming an organ donor and register to give the gift of life. (www.giftoflife.on.ca).

Special thanks to Dr. Gangji, his nurse Cindy, ER and ICU team at St. Joe's.
