Gambacorta DorothyGAMBACORTA, Dorothy Anne (nee Badger) - (May 16, 1962 – October 4, 2016) - Peacefully, on a glorious autumn day, Dorothy’s beautiful and compassionate spirit soared skyward to join the angels she embodied so well during her time on Earth. 

A thoughtful and generous soul, she was a nurturer, mentor, friend to all, frequent practitioner of random acts of kindness, and fanatical Toronto Blue Jays supporter.

Survived by husband Frank, who adored her unconditionally throughout their years together. Beloved mother of Jennifer, Melissa, and Nicholas, within all of whom her light still shines. 

Her daily phone calls will be dearly missed by her loving mother Marjory. Cherished younger sister of Diane, and Paul (Diana). Devoted daughter-in-law of Frank Sr. Endlessly kind and attentive sister-in-law to Sandy (Katherine), Tony (Margaret), Jamie (Julie), and Freddie (Michele).

Much-loved aunt to Adam, Alex, Anthony, Christopher, David, Eve, Matthew, Michael, and Nicole. Dear great aunt to Griffyn.  Predeceased by father Wilson (2007), and mother-in-law Annie (2004). 

Visitation at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville on Thursday, October 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Friday October 7th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 

Funeral on Saturday, October 8th at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Of The Cross Church, 6890 Glen Erin Dr., Mississauga at 11:00 a.m.  Internment at Mount Hope Catholic Cemetery in Toronto to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Autism Canada would be appreciated.
