LEWIS, Heather — Passed away peacefully on October 3, 2016 surrounded by her family at the Ian Anderson House at the age of 70.

Cherished wife of Don, loving mother of Kim and Brett, loving mother-in-law to Peter and doting grandmother to Victor.

Heather will be remembered as a wonderful, gracious woman who always put others before herself in life and in illness. Heather was born on January 7, 1946 in Beaconsfield, QC.

Heather attended Beaconsfield High School and Mount Allison University in NB where she made many lifelong friends.

Heather moved to Toronto where she met her wonderful husband Don and enjoyed 47 great years of marriage - enjoying travel, a wonderful family and treasured friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends and will live in their hearts forever.

Visitation will be held at Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville, on Thursday, October 13th 10:00 - 11:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. A celebration of Heather's life will follow from 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.
