KINNEAR, Peter, P. Eng. - (Retired from M.T.O.) - Passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, on Friday, October 7, 2016, aged 72 years.

Loving husband of Carol. Brother to John and his wife Ingrid, nephew Greg, niece Leslie Cochrane. He will be missed by Sammy the Cat.

Graduate of Carleton University, 1968. Employed by Department of Highways (later DHO, MTC then MTO) until he retired in 1996.

Peter enjoyed sports. He “fell” for Carol when both were skydiving. He became a scuba diver and relished the pursuits of genealogy with many trips to Scotland.

Cremation and private family service have taken place.  Arrangements, Smith's funeral home, Burlington. In memory of Peter, donations to Burlington Humane Society are sincerely appreciated.
