Mackenzie EthelMACKENZIE, Ethel (née King) – Passed away peacefully at Creek Way Village, Burlington, on Thursday, October 13, 2016, at the age of 88.

Predeceased by devoted husband John “Jack” Mackenzie.

Cherished mother of Ann Mackenzie Echlin (late Randall), and Ian Mackenzie. Proud grandmother of Elizabeth “Libby” and Robert Echlin, and Heather and Shane Mackenzie.

Ethel is predeceased by her brother Robert King and her sister Doris Dunphy.

She will be missed by her extended family and numerous friends.

The family wishes to extend their sincerest thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Creek Way Village for the exceptional care they have provided.

Private Cremation has taken place. A Service of Remembrance will be held at Port Nelson United Church, 3132 South Drive, Burlington on Monday, November 7th at 2:00pm with reception to follow.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, the family would sincerely appreciate donations in Ethel’s memory to Parkinson Canada. Arrangements entrusted with Smith's funeral home.
