PINTO, William (Bill) Daniel  - Bill, one of the strongest and most determined men we have all known fought his last battle, with all of his heart and soul.

On October 12, 2016, in his 87th year, Bill died peacefully with his loving family by his side.

Bill is survived by loving wife of 67 years Margaret Ruth, daughters Marilyn (Jim) and Lorraine, son William Jr. (Gwen), grandchildren Alison (Chris), Rhiannon (Gary), Michael, Jim (Angela) and Kayleigh and great- grandchildren Tyler, Wyatt, Nolan, Harrison and Delilah.

Bill had many passions from racing cars at the CNE Speedway, coaching hockey and restoring vintage cars, in particular Ford Mustangs. He was very proud of his achievement of becoming a lifetime member of the GHMA car club.

"Poppa" cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They mutually adored the hours spent cooking, playing and hanging out in the garage. Bill has Gone Cruisin'.

A celebration of life will be held on November 5th at 11 a.m. at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, Oakville. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
