MULKINS, Phyllis "Phyl" Mae  - With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis, on Sunday, January 8th, 2017, surrounded by her family, at her home.

Phyllis was the beloved wife of Donald (Don)Mulkins - P.Eng. for 62 years and loving mother to Craig (Debbie), Cathy, Jane and Beth, the proud grandmother (Nana) to Amanda (Scott), Philip (Mary), Roy, Bryan (Kathy), Zoe, Emily, Owen and Great Nana to Brandon, Sarah and Everett.

Phyllis was born in Port Colborne, Ontario where she met Don.

Their marriage took them to Hamilton, Quebec, Etobicoke, Streetsville and finally Hornby where they have lived since 1974. Family was very important to her and we all knew how much she cared for us. Phyllis was no pushover and we respected her strength.

She was fiercely determined until her last breath. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Phyllis’s family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses, therapists and PSW’s (CCAC-Halton) for their wonderful support.

A visitation will be held at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home in Milton on Sunday, January 15th, 2017 from 2-4 pm.

If desired, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association in lieu of flowers.
