Marasco RoseMARASCO, Rose - After a long and happy life, at the age of 94, Rose passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on February 10, 2017.

Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Marasco.

Rose is survived by her daughter Maria, son-in-law Trevor Cook and her adored grandchildren, Alexandra and Adam.

She is also survived by her devoted sister Florence Jeffrey and brother-in-law Bill. Rose was predeceased by siblings Peter Speziale and wife Marie, Connie Curto and husband Joe, Grace Curto and husband Angelo, Jack Speziale and wife Mary, Jackson Speziale and wife Laura, Anita Scime and husband Sam, Angelo "Curly" Speziale and wife Nora, and Sam Speziale, survived by Yolanda Marzoli.

Rose will be remembered fondly, especially by her many nieces and nephews, particularly for her great sense of humour. Rose brought fun and laughter to every gathering of family and friends.

A special thanks to the wonderful staff at Queen's Gardens not only for their care and compassion in Rose's final days but for their love and friendship during her stay with them.

In accordance with Rose's wishes, a private internment has taken place. A Mass and celebration of Rose's life will take place in July. Arrangements entrusted with Smith's funeral home, Burlington. If wished, donations in memory of Rose may be made to a charity of your choice.
