Baskin RoseBASKIN, Rose Marie - (1945 - 2017) - Surrounded by her family, Rose Marie Baskin (nee Bangs) departed us on March 4th, 2017 to join the ancestors she passionately spent her life retracing.

Devoted wife and princess to Ken, loving mom to Marc (Erin) and Monique, spoiling grandmaman to Caleb, Max and Parker, supportive sister to Jocelyne Jeffrey (Lawrie) and Robert Bangs (Christine), generous matante to Robert (Julie), Denise Jeffrey (Bruno), Richard Bangs (Jana), Julie Jeffrey (Ian) and Phil Bangs, and proud grande-matante to Jenny and Danick Baskin, and Eva Laferrière, and honourary sister to Cindy Blades and Darwyne Hourie, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mme Baskin contributed to the community as a long-standing French teacher at George Kennedy PS, volunteering, her commitment to Beta Sigma Phi and through her endless support to her many friends and students.

Family and friends will be received at Jones Funeral Home in Georgetown for visitation on Thursday March 9th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will held in the chapel on Friday at 11:00 am. Interment Holy Redeemer Cemetery.

In Memory contributions to the Arthritis Society or the Asthma Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Extendicare Georgetown and Georgetown Hospital.
