Capistrano DanteCAPISTRANO, Dante - Of Mississauga, Ontario has reunited with our Creator on Thursday, March 9th, 2017 at the Trillium Hospital.

Dante was a compassionate, kind, and caring husband, father, and grandfather to all of us. He worked many years as a probation officer in the Department of Justice in the Philippines. He was born in the town of Lopez in Quezon province in the Philippines to Vitaliano and Potenciana Capistrano. He was the third of the five children.

Dante was a loving husband to Medianera, a father to Marife, Daniel & Len, Dennis & Jo-an, and Mary Rose & Leo and was also a warm and affectionate grandfather to Lara, Lysie, Avery & Xavier making sure to find time to care and play with them.

Dante spent his spare time watching sports, growing plants and vegetables. He had a passion for cooking Filipino cuisine especially Laing, baked milkfish, and fish paksiw. In addition, he loved to hum to classic Filipino kundiman songs and moved along to great music. He was a person who loved to enjoy life and have fun. He enjoyed visiting the mall, eating and having coffee with friends, going to shows and playing slots in the casino.

Dante’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the memories of his friends and family. We thank the Lord that we were able to spend time and have precious moments with Dante, the husband, the father, grandfather and friend. He is a blessing to us all. He will be dearly missed. May the Lord grant him eternal rest in heaven.
