Stadnyk LarrySTADNYK, Lawrence Joseph 'Larry' - Age 74, passed away on Wednesday March 8, 2017 in Oakville, Ontario.

Larry was born on June 21, 1942 in New Westminster, British Columbia to Leo Stadnyk and Katherine (Omichinski) Stadnyk. Larry is survived by his loving and devoted wife Jo (Dey) Stadnyk of 45 years. They were married in British Columbia on October 7, 1972 and moved to Toronto to start their family.

He will be dearly missed by his children: Sarah Stadnyk, Kristy Stadnyk (Paul Mark) and Kate (Stadnyk) Lawson (Jeff Lawson), grandchildren: Darcy, Isabella and Connor, Dogs :Leah and Stella and Grand-dogs: Amelia and Delilah, along with extended family members in Canada and California.

Larry was kind, passionate and devoted to his family, his career and community. Larry began his career with P&G for 31 years and then found his true calling as a Financial Advisor with Edward Jones for 22 years working within his community and helping others. His pride and joy was his family and he always put them first.

Larry could be found every evening walking his dogs around Toogood Pond, Unionville and more recently in the community of Bronte, Oakville. He was well known for his beautiful gardens and bountiful flowers.

Visitation will be at Kopriva Taylor Funeral Home from 2-4pm and 6-8pm on Tuesday March 14th. 

A funeral service will be held at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 2415 Rebecca St., Oakville at 10am on Wednesday, March 15th.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the United Way or LotsaDogs Rescue in Larry’s memory.
