Psiharis StevePSIHARIS, Steven -

It is not length of life, but depth of life. ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

Steven Psiharis, age 46, of Mississauga, Ontario, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Steve was the beloved husband and soulmate of Stephanie Temple Psiharis, and proud father of Noah and Nicholas.

He is survived by his devoted mother, Harriet Psiharis, and two loving brothers, Jim Psiharis and Spyros Psiharis, his mother in law Stella Temple, Sister in law Denise AuCoin (Claude) and brother in law Tony Temple (Robin), along with nieces, nephews and goddaughters. Predeceased by his father, John Psiharis.

He will be missed by his many friends and family members.

Steve loved his family and his friends. He was an easygoing guy who enjoyed the simple things in life: hosting a barbecue, watching a Jays’ game, having a few beers. Steve was a dedicated Metallica fan, and enjoyed rock concerts and Classic Rock. He loved to go to Cuba and hang by the beach.

Steve always wanted to live in a log cabin, and dreamed of a quiet life. Timeless blue skies. The crashing waves of the Newfoundland coast. Trees: Vibrant.Majestic. Infinite. Hazy days sometimes. And cleansing rain. And sunshine. Peaceful nights beneath the sparkling stars… Serenity.

This is our Steve. And in his honour, the turkeys are flying today!!!

Visitation at Glen Oaks funeral home, Oakville on March 15th from 2 - 4pm an d7 - 9pm. Funeral service in the chapel on March 16th at 11:00 a.m.

The boundaries between life and death are at best shadowy and vague.
Who shall say where one ends and where the other begins?
