Dodds BrianDODDS, Brian Ross - In his 81st year, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Ian Anderson House in Oakville, Ontario on Monday April 10, 2017.

Brian will be remembered as the beloved husband of Barbara Brophy and revered father of Lori (Tony) Higgins, Cheryl (Dean) Keegan and Brenda (Derek) King. Grandfather of Gregory and Kayla Higgins and Thomas and Jessica Keegan.

Loving stepfather of Jill (Randy) Bennett, Heather (Jim) Shea, and Todd (Deanna) Brophy and step grandfather to Cameron and Jason Bennett, Jackson, Benjamin and Madison Shea and Halle and Kalan Brophy.

Brian was predeceased by his first wife Myrna Albiston.

Brian retired from Nedco/Westburne/Rexel after 42 years. Brian was an active volunteer at Heart House Hospice, loved singing barbershop with The Entertainers and volunteered at the Royal Botanical Gardens. His contributions and his cheerful and witty persona will be acknowledged and celebrated by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at the Glen Oaks Funeral Home, 3164 Ninth Line, Oakville on Monday April 17 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday April 18th at 2p.m. in the chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ian Anderson House (430 Winston Churchill Blvd., Oakville) or Heart House Hospice (855 Matheson Blvd., Unit 1, Mississauga).
