Sprung NormaSPRUNG, Norma Irene - (1927 - 2017) - It is with profound sadness that we announce Norma’s peaceful passing on July 12th, 2017.

She was the wife of the late David B. (Bill) Sprung for 60 wonderful years, and the daughter of the late George and Irene Holman (nee Egan). Norma is survived by her daughters Wendy, Janis and Karen (Andre), granddaughters Leah and Laura (Chris), and very special great grandsons Nash and Tanner.

Also mourning her passing are sisters Shirley (the late Sidney), Ruth, and Barbara (Donald), and their families, as well as Sprung, McDonald, and Walters nieces, nephews and their extended families. She was predeceased by her brother Montague (Erla).

Norma was a longtime member of St. Paul's United Church, Oakville and will be missed by many friends in the congregation, as well as the Oakville community in which she and Bill lived for close to 50 years.

The family would like to thank the staff and many residents of Vistamere for their care and companionship over 7 years ... she called it home. Her lucky bingo cards can now be shared with the rest of the Saturday afternoon gang. Thanks also to the Oakville Hospital doctors, nurses and support staff on 7S and 3N for their outstanding care and support during her recent hospitalization.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Paul’s United Church, Oakville would be appreciated.

A memorial service will be held at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Rd. W., Oakville on Tuesday July 25th at 11am.
