Furlan MarioFURLAN, Mario - (January 4, 1925 - August 6, 2017) - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our Husband, Father and Poppa.

This great man will be missed by all who knew him, but his spirit and love will live on thru his wife Betty, children Joe (Barb) Furlan, Cheri (Bob) Colgan, grandchildren Rachael (Ryan), Melissa, Meghan (Ryan), Michael and great grandchildren, Dominic, Tyler, Kinsley, Hailey and Emilia.

Survived by his sisters Rita Holden, Ida Furlan and his nieces and nephews.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to the nurses at the continuing complex care unit at Milton District Hospital for the kindness and support over the last 3 weeks for both Mario and his family.

In a world where heroes come and go, God just took the only one we know. Fly high Big Man, we will love you forever.

Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKersie-Kocher funeral home, 114 Main St. E., Milton from 7-9pm on Thursday, August 10th. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 11th at 11am in the funeral home chapel.

As expressions of sympathy, a donation in memory of Mario to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Kidney Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
