McPhaden NormanMcPHADEN, Norman Allen - Passed away on Thursday October 5th, 2017 at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with his beloved wife of 60 years, Elva, by his side.

Norman was the loving father of John and his wife Marie and Richard and his wife Marcelle. He was the proud Grandpa of Paul, Cameron, Stephen, Heather, Dalton and Brian.

A longtime resident of Oakville, his friends will remember a quiet man who had a deep faith, most recently attending Central Baptist Church. Norman completed his career at Petro Canada’s Clarkson refinery, enjoyed time at the cottage on Bob’s Lake and was an avid fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Norman’s family thanks the staff at the Waterford for the care and compassion offered to the whole family during his time there.

Visitation will take place at Oakview funeral home, Oakville on October 9th from 10:00 a.m. until the chapel service begins in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m.  Burial at St. Jude's cemetery to follow.

Donations in memory of Norman to the Oakville Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
