She is predeceased by her husband George (1964).

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth Nascimben (Frank) and Tina Talving (the late Tony). She was a special Baba Olga to Sofia, Rylynn, Cameron and Téa.

Adamiak EdADAMIAK, Edward 'Ed' - Passed away peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Credit Valley Hospital Monday, February 6 2017, in his 67th year.

Beloved husband of Christa (nee) Bebernick for 47 years. Father and Father-in-law of Veronica Wilson, Stephen Wilson, Michael Adamiak and Amanda Adamiak. Cherished Grandfather of Matthew Adamiak, Daniel Wilson, Adam Adamiak and Vanessa Wilson.

Twin brother of the late John Adamiak and survived by his older brother Stan Adamiak.

 

Fuchs BenFUCHS, Bendicht 'Ben' - (October 10, 1924 – February 6, 2017) - Bendicht (Ben) Fuchs died on February 6th, 2017 at the Headwaters Healthcare Centre in Orangeville, ON, in his 93rd year.

He was predeceased by his wife Elizabeth (nee Moeri).

Papa Ben was the beloved father of Mary Hurst (Mark) of Callander ON, John (Marion) of Edmonton, AB and Katherine of Halton Hills, ON. He is lovingly remembered by three grandchildren: Holly, Kathleen and Mitchell; and five great-grandchildren: Ellis, Adelaide, Amelia, Hugh and Eliza.

Predeceased by his parents Fritz and Emma (Siegenthaler), brothers Fritz and Hans and sisters Emma, Marie and Magdalena.

 

MacKinnon DhonaldMacKINNON, Dhonald Welch 'Buppy' - (1943 – 2017) - Passed away surrounded by family at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on Monday, February 6, 2017 in his 74th year.

He is survived by Sally (nee Watters) his wife of almost 50 years. Beloved father of David (Kelly) and Nancy (Scott). Proud grandfather of Ian and Andrew, Daniel, Alyvia, Justine, Danielle, Cassie, Steven, Jaimie and Abbie.

Sadly missed by his extended family and cherished friends.

Park KennethPARK, Kenneth William - Ken passed away suddenly and unexpectedly due to complications related to a battle with brain cancer on February 4, 2017.

Ken was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia on February 17, 1932, son of the late James Park of Glasgow, Scotland and Clarice Middleton of Lancashire, UK.

He left this world just two weeks shy of his 85th birthday.

Ken was predeceased by his wife and love of his life Ernestine (née Curotte, April 22, 1934 - June 3, 1995) and brother, Allan James (July 3, 1929 - April 22, 1997).

 

Collados ElviraCOLLADOS-Nunez Elvira - Elvirita passed away peacefully at home in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday February 4th, 2017 at the age of 105.

Beloved mother of Matilde, grandmother of Juan Pablo & Alejandro, grandmother in-law of Mia and great-grandmother of Alyssa, Juliet and Pablo, sister of Emilio who resides in Spain and most dearest deceased siblings Modesto, Claudio and Julia.

Elvira was born in Spain in 1911. At the age of three her parents Modesto and Elvira immigrated with her to South America, first to Argentina and after nine years to Chile. In 1936 she married Matias who died shortly after, leaving her with her only daughter. She moved with her parents, baby daughter and siblings to Santiago where they pursued University educations. She graduated as a language teacher majoring in Latin and Philosophy. She never stopped studying, obtaining post graduate degree in Spain.

Gerardo was predeceased by his beloved wife Carmela, brother Angelo and sisters Benedetta and Maria.

He is survived by his brother Enrico (Francesca), sister-in-law Anna and many nieces and nephews in Canada and the United States.

Gerardo immigrated to Canada in the early 1950’s with his brothers from Alvito, Italy, settling in Oakville as part of the early Italian community in Halton and working in the construction trade for over 45 years. He will be forever remembered by family and friends as our “Zio Gerardo."

Cherished grandmother of Deanna, Jim (Kerri), Jeff (Tina), Chris (Becky), Kerri, Karley (Bob), Val (Stewart), Lucas, Megan and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Hilda Jones (Maurice) and Alma Decevito (John) and sister in law of Rick. Predeceased by her sisters, Phyllis (late Tommy) and Bobbie.

 

Brown HowardBROWN, Howard George - Passed away peacefully in the arms of his daughter on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital in his 94th year.

He is now reunited with his beloved wife Bernice, who passed away in 1998.

Howard was loved and adored by his daughter Cheryl Baker (Michael). Loving and proud grandfather of Laura (Steve), Steven (Susan) and David. Cherished Uncle to Bruce Miller (Linda), Robert Wallwork (Joan) and Bernice Vair. Great Uncle and Great-Great Uncle to many nieces and nephews. He will be fondly remembered by Cheryl's sister-in-law Sue Korobkin.

Howard was born and raised in Hamilton and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in WWII. He retired after 30 years with Dofasco as a foreman in the Blast Furnace Mechanical.

Beloved wife, best friend and golf partner of Frank. Cherished mother of Jeff (Carol).

Mary Grace retired from the Halton Separate School Board after more than 40 years of teaching.

Courtney RalphCOURTNEY, Ralph Robert - Ralph of Healey Lake Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 3, 2017 in Parry Sound at the age of 68.

Predeceased by his parents Stewart and Dorothy (Macdonald) Courtney and his wife Mary (Munro). He is survived by his wife Marilyn (Codner) and his daughter Sue (Sean Kenney) and son David (Lisa) as well as sons Jeff Hynes (Shannon) and John Hynes (Trudie).

Ralph was an extremely proud grandfather (chief fishing buddy, tubing boat captain and all around best friend) of 9 adoring grandchildren. He served as a volunteer fireman at Station 2 in Burlington and was a dedicated employee of Stelco in Hamilton.
