Robert Frederick Francis Blades was born on May 5, 1926 in Whitburn, England. Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He will be greatly missed by his wife Shirley of 62 years, and his children Barry Blades (Natalia), David Blades (Karla) and Douglas Blades (Amy). Papa will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Briana, Trevor, Kylie, Hanna, Courtney and Laurel. Survived by his sister, Doris Gallimore (John) of England.

Lewis JaneLEWIS, Jane Christine (nee Freeman) - Mrs. Jane Christine Lewis (nee Freeman) passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at home with her husband of over 62 years, Viggo Leslie Lewis (Lou) by her side after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Jane will be greatly missed by her four loving children David Lewis (Jane Ravenshaw), Linda Cochrane (Greg Cochrane), Deborah Lewis Gray (Brian Gray) and Robert Lewis (Anita Lewis). She will also be missed by her cherished grandchildren, Laura Lewis, David and James Cochrane, Thomas and Robert Gray, and Ted Lewis.

Jane grew up in Belleville, Ontario where she attended high school until grade 11. She then attended Branksome Hall in Toronto before she studied at Queen’s University, where she graduated from Arts in 1952. Jane met Lou there, and they married in Belleville in 1954 where they lived, raising a family there until 1977. After a few years in Illinois for Lou’s work, they moved to Oakville, Ontario, where Jane was very happy to be back with her children, all in Toronto.

It is with great sadness that we announce Joyce Kellock Boyer passed away peacefully at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in Oakville, Ontario on Tuesday, April 25, 2017.

Joyce was an accomplished artist, once an esteemed member of the Lakeshore Artists Association in Montreal's West Island and then later the Oakville Art Society of Oakville, Ontario.

While an artist of many talents, she is best known for her paintings of children in many different scenarios which soon became known as "The Kellock Kids." UNICEF, Governor General Roland Michener, hockey commentator Ron Maclean and numerous others were and are proud owners of her artwork.
