Rose was predeceased by her beloved husband Anthony Marasco.

STANBURY, The Honourable Robert Douglas George 'Bob' - PC, QC - Born October 26, 1929. Passed away peacefully on February 10, 2017 at the age of 87.
As a lawyer, politician, journalist and corporate executive, he made incredible contributions to his community and to his country.
He was a graduate of the University of Western Ontario before obtaining a law degree at Osgoode Hall. He went on to work as a lawyer for many years, and was first elected to the House of Commons in 1965 as the Liberal Member of Parliament for York-Scarborough. He served his country as a member of parliament for 12 years, during which time he was appointed by then Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau to a variety of cabinet positions.

MAYEUR, Serge Jean Georges - Serge was called home, peacefully, at the age of 75, on Tuesday, February 7, 2017.
He has rejoined his daughter Danielle (2001) in the light and joy of the fullness of God.
He will be sorely missed by his wife Carolyn, his son Tim, and the many family members and friends who enriched his life and were there for him with love in his struggle with ALS and Parkinson’s.
He accomplished much in his lifetime: he was a master teacher of French and Immersion in Halton, he coached over 40 teams, established the first school Terry Fox runs which raised over $100,000 over the years for cancer, pioneered late immersion in Halton, refereed soccer and volleyball for 13 years after retirement, and much more. Indeed, Serge touched so many lives positively.

Passed away peacefully on February 7, 2017 at home in the arms of her parents as she had requested. Katie Star Herron, dearly beloved daughter of Anne Hodgkinson and Paul Herron. Katie was in her 8th year.
Although Katie’s time with us was short, her accomplishments were many and great. A star which bears her name twinkles in the skies above.
Her first love was dancing and from the time she was a tot, she was learning all the dance moves and would perform in her Mother’s Dance Studio and later with the Studio in Cambridge.
BROWN, Douglas Harold - Age 72 of Oakville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 7, 2017 with family by his side, after a courageous fight against pulmonary fibrosis.
It is impossible to exaggerate what an amazing father he was or his total devotion to the love of his life and high school sweetheart, his wife Kaye. He was a wonderful father to Jane Battye and Julie Fisher and cherished Grandpa of Savannah and Sienna Battye and Will Fisher.
Doug graduated from Guelph University with an Honours Bachelor Degree of Science, Chemistry and Agriculture. He furthered his education with an MBA through York University. Doug enjoyed a long and rewarding career with Noranda Inc., lastly as a Director of Economics and Pension Investments.

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father Stephen Tyers, into the presence of the Lord.
Dad was born July 29, 1919 in Redbridge, Ontario, just outside North Bay. Dad met our mother Olive (nee McCullough) at Keswick Camp in Muskoka after the war.
They raised five children while working at Inco mines in Sudbury, before moving the family to Burlington in 1965.
