Passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 at his home with his family by his side, Bill in his 97th year.

Beloved husband of Chris for 67 years.

Cherished uncle to Scott and Joanne, Cameron and Alison, Jenn and Myles, Kate and Glenn, Rebecca, Gabrielle and Jonathan and great-uncle to Lucas, Jenna, Sophie, Scotty, Isabel, Maya, Shae, Sloane, Kara and Evelyn.

Predeceased by his father, John Kirwin Land (Jack) and mother, Shirley Jean Land (nee Maxwell).

 

SMITH, Anne (Davison) - (1920 - 2017) - In loving memory of our mother, grandma, great grandma and sister.

Anne Smith died peacefully on July 9, 2017 leaving her children, Bob and Lynda, Peter and Jane; her grandsons, Geoffrey (Jen), Michael (Belinda) and Greg (Shannon); her great-grandchildren, Mia, Ryan, Tea, Dana and Andrew and a multitude of Scott, Davison and Smith nieces and nephews.

She is also survived by her brother Bill Davison and his wife Margaret.  Predeceased by her husband Bob, brothers Tom and Joe and sister Hilda, wife of Munro Scott.

She is reunited with her granddaughter Heather who predeceased her, and will be sadly missed by her cousin Carol Allaire.

McCANN, Gillian 'Jill' - Passed away while surrounded by family, at Maple Villa Long Term Care Centre, in Burlington, on Saturday, July 8, 2017, at the age of 69.

Beloved wife of John for 50 years. Loving mother of Jacqueline "Jackie" Christodoulou (Nico), John (Krysta) and Keith (Reva). Cherished grandmother of Eleftherios, Popi, Alysha, Dylan, Ashwin and Isla.

Jill will be dearly missed by extended family of Nick and Mag. She will be fondly remembered by Emily and J.R.

 

Cordeiro ManuelCORDEIRO, Manuel Moniz (aka Manuel Rebeca) - Passed away peacefully on July 8, 2017 at the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 82nd year, surrounded by his family.

Manuel was born in S.Miguel, Azores on July 31st, 1935.

Beloved husband of Deolinda das Merces (nee Fernandes) for 59 years. Loving father of  Gualter Manuel and Donatilde -- Donna (Leo Fernandes).  Proud avo of  Rebecca Lynne, Sarah Anne, Amber Nicole, Megan Renee, and Adam Mathew (Bryanna).

 

SANDERSON, Brian - (1940 - 2017)- It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and peaceful passing of Brian on Saturday, July 8th, 2017 surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Marie Gardner. Survived by his niece Paula Sanderson.

Predeceased by his brother Barry, mother Ena Counsell (nee Doy), father Thomas Sanderson, and stepfather Henry Counsell.

Brian will be forever remembered by his many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, extended family and close friends.

 

FARRAUTO, Michael David - On Thursday, July 7, 2017 with his beloved Carol (nee Lukoff) and his loving parents Anne (nee Joy) and Carmelo “Jack” by his side, Michael passed peacefully at The Carpenter Hospice in Burlington at the age of 54.

Michael had fought stage 4 pancreatic and liver cancer very bravely for 8 months. His wish was to have a private cremation.

Loved father of Norma of Erin, Mark of Calgary and Ross of Burlington. Predeceased in 2003 by his wife of 45 years, Irene (nee Sullivan).

Ernie also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. One grandchild lost his life in a serious car accident.

Survived by her sister Anna (Ralph) and family.

 

Poole JimPOOLE, Jim - It’s with such heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jim on Friday July 7th, 2017. Jim fought courageously, but lost his short battle with cancer at the age of 63, at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital with family at his side.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Linda, and his stepchildren Stacy (Anne), Debbie (Matt) and Lori. He will be so dearly missed by his beloved grandchildren Briana, Rhyan, Rhys, Tyler and Natasha.

Be will also be sadly missed by his sisters Debbie (Keith) and Suzanne (Brian), and is predeceased by his brother Larry (Sue). He will be fondly remembered by all his nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and colleagues.

 

Zatka Dr VladimirZATKA, Dr. Vladimir J.  - Passed away peacefully in Oakville on July 7, 2017, in his 95th year.

Predeceased in 2004 by his beloved wife Irene, Vlad will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Iva (Garfield), son Mirko (Janet) and grandchildren Jillian and Martin.

Vlad was born in 1923 in the former Czechoslovakia.

A profoundly decent man, he was known and respected throughout his life for his generosity and integrity and for never hesitating to speak the truth even when it was personally risky to do so and for which he was persecuted throughout his academic career at the Prague Technical University.

Beloved husband of Christine (nee Shimoon) for 49 years. Loving father of Tony (Gabriela), John (Joanne), and Lisa Bradstock (Drew). Sadly missed by his grandchildren Kristin, Tabitha, Sienna and Weston.

Survived by sisters Constandina and Anna. Predeceased by brothers Leo, Guiseppe, Pasquale, and by sisters Louisa, Maria and Rosa.

Nicola worked as a chef for many years in Mississauga.

 

McIsaac AllenMcISAAC, Allen Mereice - (June 17, 1937 – July 7, 2017) -  Suddenly at home on Thursday, July, 6, 2017 at the age of 80.

Allen is survived by his siblings; Flora Barber, Mac McIsaac, Ruth (Michael) Rippon, Leroy (Theresa) McIsaac, Don (Carol) McIsaac and Ronnie McIsaac.

Predeceased by his parents Florence and Allen McIsaac, and his siblings; Frank Alexander (Sandy) McIsaac, Jim McIsaac, Gladys McIsaac Vyse, Jennetta McIsaac Harris, Annie McIsaac Coleman and John McIsaac. Allen will be dearly missed by many nieces and nephews.

 

RADMORE, Frank Stanley 'Mickey' - Passed away peacefully at his residence in Burlington on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at the age of 97.

Predeceased by his loving wife Mona (nee Smith) (2010).

Devoted father of Dianne (Mike) of B.C., and George (Marilynn) of Burlington. Proud and cherished grandfather of Amy Blake (Rob) of Alberta and Brandon of Burlington. Mickey will also be missed by extended family and friends.

Perry BillPERRY, William John 'Bill' - Born March 23, 1964 and passed July 5, 2017, at the age of 53.

Bill was the only son of John and Sharron Perry.  Bill was raised in Erin and resided in Georgetown, where he drove cab for the last few years.

He will be deeply missed by Aunts, Uncles and many cousins here in Ontario and Prince Edward Island. He will also be missed by his many dear friends.

 

Mayo StanMAYO, Stanley 'Stan' - It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Stanley Mayo on Wednesday, July 5, 2017, at 2:25pm, at Oakville Hospital with all his family.

He fought for four long excruciating years with cancer and never complained a single time, just to spend another day with the family he loved so much. He is and was loving Husband, a fantastic Father and recently a proud GrandFather.

He is survived by his loving spouse Maria of 41 years, daughter Sabrina and son Jaysen, and granddaughter Esther and grandson Memphis. He will be remembered always for his positive out look on life, funny sense of humour, and contagious Smile.
