Lester DavidLESTER, David L. - David passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Tuesday, November 21st, 2017 at the age of 47.

He is survived by his mother Ilean "Ginger," sisters Theresa and Kerry, his brother Ryan, and his father Claude Morrish. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He will also be fondly remembered by his extended family members and many friends. Predeceased by his grandparents David J. and Cathalene Lester.

Predeceased by his loving wife Gwenwith whom he enjoyed 63 years of marriage and son Russell. Loving father of Dennis (Jan), Marlene Colvin (Bruce) and Brian. Grandfather to Jeremiah, Sarah, Jonathan and Stephanie Howarth (Gord).

Edwin was a WWII veteran, who served on the ships, Iles de France and Queen Elizabeth , caring for the injured who were returning home across the Atlantic.

Predeceased by her husband Brian Krick and her parents Roy and Belle (Salmon) Weaver. Beloved sister of Pat Fretwell and sister-in-law of Tim Curtis of Kitchener. Dear daughter-in-law of Helen and the late George Krick of Stoney Creek.

Predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Dmytro and her infant son.

Josephine immigrated to Canada in 1952 and was a long-time member of the Holy Spirit Ukrainian Catholic Church Women's League and choir. She leaves behind many relatives in Mlynyska, Ukraine and her friends in Hamilton.


Taylor BarbaraTAYLOR, Barbara Mae - Passed away peacefully at home on Monday, November 20, 2017 in her 81st year.

Barbara was a beloved wife and partner to Douglas, and their love story lasted 52 years. Barb and Doug did almost everything together, and passed away almost a year to the day of each other.

Barbara proudly devoted her life to being a mother to Scott and Jason (Kristen) and relished her role as a grandmother to Lucia and Olivia.


Cullen JimCULLEN, James Eric 'Jim' - (October 1, 1922 - November 20, 2017) - Jim passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, at the Brantford General Hospital, with his loving family by his side on Monday, November 20th, 2017.

Loving father of Kenneth (Bette), Kathleen, Donald (Dorie), Douglas (Maureen), Dennis (Brenda), and Sheilah Davis (Don).

Predeceased by Phurn (2015), his cherished wife of 71 years, as well as by sons Clifford, Terry, and Rory Sean, grandson Richard, parents Gertrude and James Cullen, brother Jack, and sisters Agnes, Alice, and Jean.

Survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Jim was very proud of his service as a Flying Officer in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WWII. He might get his children’s birthdates confused, but never the day he got his wings.

Much loved son of Bandu and Dr. Manel Imbulgoda, and dear brother of Dr. Amal Imbulgoda. He will be sadly missed by his fiancée Katherine McDonald.

Anil was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where he also obtained his undergraduate degree in Science, before attending medical school and completing his residency in family medicine in Newfoundland.

Dr. Anil Imbulgoda had been working alongside his mother at their family practice in Waterdown.


Harris WilliamHARRIS, William James -  It is with great sadness that the family of William James Harris announces his passing after a year long battle with cancer, on Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the age of 59.

Bill will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 36 years, Beverley and his children Jim and Chrissy. Bill will also be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Hailey and Rylan, his mother Dorothy Harris, his siblings Wendy (Larry) Roszell, Sandra Keating, Tom (Sue) Harris, Shelley (Jim) Schaffer, as well as many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his father Robert Harris and his son Will.

Bill was a very active member of the community and spent many years giving back. He was a Life Member of the Cayuga Kinsmen Club, an active member of the Cayuga Masons and most recently the Shriners.

Drieman JohannaDRIEMAN, Johanna Maria 'Annemarie' (nee Dicker) – (November 9, 1929 – November 18, 2017) - Is now resting in God’s loving hands.

She died peacefully at home on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 88. 

Annemarie was the very loving wife of Frans for 61 years. Also a devoted and caring mother of her 2 children John (Mary) and Francien (Mike). Loving Oma to her grandchildren Michael (Melissa), Derek, Justina, Timothy and Geoffrey.
