Chatelain LorraineCHATELAIN, Lorraine Donna - Peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2016 with her family by her side, at Emmanuel House Hospice, Lorraine passed away at the age of 80.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Maurice.

Loving mother of Paul (Cathy), and Cheryl Guerriero ( Nello).  Proud Grammie of Shane (Amanda), James (Kelly and her son Braden), and Great-Grammie of William. 

Lorraine loved her visits and dinners with her goddaughter/niece Kim Melville and treasured her dear friends Shirley and Bud Chaston, who were always there to show their love and support.

Lorraine will always be remembered with love by her nieces, nephews, and her extended Turcot and Chatelain families of Quebec. Predeceased by her brothers Alan (the late Irene), Bill (the late Mary), Jim (Louise) and very close family friend Al Boyle. 

She retired from Firestone after 25 years of dedicated service.  She loved fishing and spending time with her family at the trailer on Rice Lake, as well as trying her luck at the casino. 

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody funeral home, Hamilton on Thursday, September 8th from 4-7 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the Chapel.

A special thank you to one of Lorraine's Personal Support Workers Sheila as well as Emmanuel House Hospice for the care and compassion given to Lorraine.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Emmanuel House Hospice or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
