Fijalkowski BarbaraFIJALKOWSKI, Barbara Anne - It is with great sadness we announce that Barbara peacefully passed away after battling a lengthy illness at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday September 11, 2016 at the age of 61.

Beloved daughter of Marian and the late Irene Fijalkowski. Dearest sister and sister-in-law of Christine and Jozef Kedzierski. Loving aunt of Monica. Survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins in Canada, Poland and Italy.

Barbara attended Glendale Secondary and graduated from McMaster University with a B.A. She was involved with the Hamilton Polish Scouts and the Midland Powerand sail Squadron. She was a retired employee of Dofasco.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Firestone Tower of the Complex Care Ward on the 5th Floor of St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Visitation at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Thursday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm with Vigil prayers at 8pm.

A Funeral Mass will be offered at St. Stanislaus Church (Barton St. between Sherman and Lottridge) on Friday September 16 2016 at 11am. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
