SIKSAY, Carol Anne (nee Hamer) -  Passed away surrounded by loved ones in the early morning of September 10, 2016 at the age of 76.

Daughter of the late William Hamer and Emily Mendum of St. Catharines. Precedeased by her cherished husband, Dr. Nicholas Siksay.

Carol is survived by her six daughters and their spouses, Cynthia and Bill, Deborah and Neil, Virginia and Glenn, Dawn and Phil, Nichole and Rajesh, Catherine and Jason. Loving grandmother of Lauren, Maclennan and Claire, Liam, Nicholas and Abigayle, Nicholas, Benjamin and Sydney and Isabel.

Retired from CHEPA (McMaster University) in 1999, Carol was an active member at the Church of the Ascension as warden, choir member, and volunteer. The warmth, love, smiles, and hugs of this incredibly courageous woman will be greatly missed.

Deepest thanks to the staff of St. Joseph’s Villa in Dundas.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the ALS Society of Canada, or the MS Society of Canada.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday September 17th at 3 p.m. at the Church of the Ascension, 64 Forest Ave., Hamilton, with reception to follow.
