RADFORD, Lillian Joyce (nee Potter) - It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that the family announces the peaceful passing of Lily in Burlington, on Wednesday, September 14, 2016.

Loving spouse of Gordon Hood. Cherished mother to Sandy, and step-mother of Doug and Chris (Kathy).

Predeceased by husband Lynn Radford, sister Marion, and parents Arthur and Louisa Potter. Lily will be lovingly remembered by her siblings: Robert (Mariette, deceased), Elsie (Steve), Arthur (Diane), Barbara Joan (David), Walter (Audrey) Louise (Denis), Douglas (Francine), Donald (Lily), Malcolm (Cindy). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

She will be missed by her many close friends and legion members.

Lillian served in the Canadian Army Militia, Montreal, Quebec for more than eight years. A 38 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Waterdown, Lillian served as Ways and Means representative on the Executive Committee.

Special thanks to staff at The Carpenter Hospice.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Kitching, Steepe & Ludwig Funeral Home, Waterdown, on Tuesday, September 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the WATERDOWN LEGION, BRANCH 551, 79 Hamilton St. N., on Wednesday, September 21st at 11 a.m., with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to The Carpenter Hospice would be appreciated by the family
