COOPER, Mary Grace (nee Smellie) - With heavy hearts the family of Mary Cooper announces her passing in her 85th year at Juravinski Hospital on Thursday, October 6, 2016, while surrounded by her loving family.

Mary is now reunited with her late husband Albert (2007).

Beloved mother to Ken (Karen), David (Linda) and Mary Beth (David) Page. Cherished grandmother to Alicia (Andrew), Steven, Andrew, Melissa (Neil), Daniel (Jenny), Stephen (Leanne), Ryan (Meagan), Nicole (Brian), Tracey and Brent (Nicole). Proud great grandmother to Cole and Keira.

Mary will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law Helen (The late Bob) and many nieces and nephews, family and friends. Mary represented the best of Canadian values, always with a hint of her Scottish roots, living a life of compassion, loyalty, kindness, hard work, love, generosity, humor and faith. 

Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, Hamilton chapel on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.

A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, October 12th at 11:00 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church; 720 Ninth Avenue. Interment to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, donations to either Trinity Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
