Eves JohnEVES, John Thomas Aaron - With broken hearts, we announce John’s passing at The Carpenter Hospice after a brief battle with cancer. Heaven welcomed him home on Monday, October 3, 2016.

Loving soulmate and best friend of Anna (nee Brodie). He will be dearly missed by his children Jennifer (Mike) McComb, Brian Eves, Vannessa Eves, their mother Karen Eves, as well as Anna’s children Ashley Vickerson and Angela Vickerson. Cherished Papa John of Maxim, Marley and Denver.

Predeceased by his parents John and Marie Eves. Steadfast and caring brother of Lynda (Allan) Wigood, Kathy (Sid) Lang, Debbie (Bill) Gartley, Bill (Sally) Eves, and Doug Eves, and brother-in-law to Teena (Ron) Reece and Lisa (Chris) Egan.

John will also be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, extended family, numerous life-long friends, and colleagues at Keller Construction and Kennedy Stairs.

Special thanks to Dr. Randy Cross and his team, the nurses and PSWs from CCAC, and especially Jamie Robertson, pastor of Mountsberg Baptist Church. We as a family will always remember and be grateful for the kind and compassionate care extended to us by the staff and volunteers at The Carpenter Hospice.

Celebration of Life to be held at Marian Hall, 89 Freelton Road, Freelton, on Saturday, October 29th from 1-5 p.m. Tributes at 2:30 p.m., with Pastor Jamie Roberston officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Mountsberg Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
