DiLuciano NinoDiLUCIANO, Antonio 'Nino' - It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Antonio "Nino" on Friday, October 7th, 2016 at the age of 92 with his family by his side.

Born in Leognano, Teramo, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954.  Beloved husband of Adina (nee Ricci) for 69 years.  Loving father of Julie (Nick Annecchini). Cherished Nonno of Dana (James Tonin) and Elisa. Beloved great-grandfather to Noah, Emma, Logan & Jessica. 

Beloved brother of Pietro (Guiseppina) of Argentina. Beloved brother-in- law of Elvira DiLuciano and Vittoria Ricci.  Predeceased by his parents Luciano and Giulia (nee Mantini), brothers Carino, Domenico, Giuseppe, Francesco and sister Carmela DiPietro and brother-in-law Vittorio Ricci. 

A special thank you to his in home caregivers, Doris Jose and Helen Duhaylungsod who provided exceptional care to Antonio and Gino Bozzella his rehab therapist/friend. For the last six months, Antonio was under the care of the staff on the 3East Palliative Care Unit at St. Peter's Hospital. They were so caring and compassionate, not only to Antonio, but his entire family. A heartfelt thank you to Father Charlie Galea, who brought Antonio great comfort. 

Antonio was such a kind, gentle and generous man who will be lovingly remembered by his family, many friends and relatives. 

Visitation at the Markey-Dermody funeral home, Hamilton on Tuesday from 2- 4 and 6–9 p.m.  Vigil Prayers at 3:30 p.m.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Incarnation of Our Blessed Lord Roman Catholic Church, (corner of Barton Street and Nash Road), Hamilton on Wednesday, October 12th at 9:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow. 

Donations in Antonio's memory, to the St. Peter's Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
